These Terms apply to your use of WhyDidItClose public beta builds.

Beta Nature of the Product

• WhyDidItClose is beta software.
• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
• Diagnostics are best-effort and may be incomplete or incorrect.

Permitted Use

You may use WhyDidItClose for lawful, internal, and personal or team troubleshooting purposes during beta.

Prohibited Use

You may not use WhyDidItClose to:

• violate law or third-party rights
• interfere with operation of the app or related systems
• misrepresent beta output as guaranteed root-cause truth

Your Data and Responsibility

• You control whether to export and share diagnostic files.
• You are responsible for reviewing exported data before sharing it.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of any data you care about.

No Warranty

WHYDIDITCLOSE BETA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE BETA.

Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or end beta access at any time. You may stop using the beta at any time by removing the app.

Use of WhyDidItClose is also governed by docs/legal/privacy.md.

Changes

We may update these Terms by updating this file.
